DESCRIPTION:Oil Sands Safety Association Accredited \nThis course will train you to identify hazards associated with the operation of an elevated work platform (Boom lift or Scissor lift).  The industry has many site specific rules and procedures for operating an aerial work platform safely.  Upon completion of this program\, you will gain experience with safe work practices and operating techniques through a variety of sample case studies and hands on training. \nCourse Cost – $ 280.00 per person\, tax exempt \nProgram Length – 8 hours \nProgram Topics: positioning the platform\, working near a power source\, stopping/lowering/shutdown\, battery handling and recharging. \nProgram Requirements:  Valid OSSA Fall Protection certification\, steel toed boots\, hard hat\, safety glasses\, and high visible vest. \n3 Year Certification \n
